rowing up, folks were always stopping by our home at meal time. Not just for a taste of Ma's famous cooking (although there was none finer to be found, mind you!). Folks also came for a taste of hospitality. Like Pa was fond of saying, "At our table, everyone's family." That's how I came to have so many aunts, uncles, and cousins. And why anyone who visits my restaurant today is still considered one of the family.

Of course, even family won't stop by for just any meal. So I make sure the meals I serve today are every bit as good as they were forty years ago. Right down to the smallest details. Like serving fresh-squeezed orange juice and fresh ground coffee. Making all my pancakes from scratch, and topping them with fruits from the farm. And that's just breakfast!
